Cultivating & Creating Beauty Project

Calling all helping hands to join our Cultivating & Creating Beauty Project!

Collectively, I think on some level we all experienced something magical and divine during the days leading up to Barack Obama becoming our President. I felt a container surrounding my heart slowly crack open with the forces of love. My heart revealed a whole new paradigm of light filled with sacred dreams now launching and hatching in perfect timings. Our highest ideals are being born into the absolute knowledge that we live in a benevolent and love filled universe and that we are all so interconnected. Aligning deeply with those awakened truths and attributes of our universe, and knowing too that we can mark our progress on the path by how well everyone else in our global & cosmic communities are doing, a feeling of gratitude and renewed responsibility took hold.

Perhaps it was the turning of the page on a New Year, timed with the inauguration of a President so full of integrity and inspired vision, along with this feeling of a paradigm shift occurring in my heart, that urged me to want to share a simple idea that had inspired me & that I knew had the power to transform the world in a beautiful way. Ted Turner in an interview spoke of one simple act that he does every day & that we each could do that would help clean up the environment. The simple act was picking up one piece of trash from our streets. Moved with new hope and vision to beautify my own life and streets, the Cultivating & Creating Beauty Project took shape and is now being extended and broadened to our whole global family, but I increased the ante and lead of Ted Turner since we have two hands and such large hearts.

The invitation and opportunity is for all of us to help increase our inner and global beauty with simple actions steadily done each day. The daily commitment is twofold, the first part is to find beauty in the world everyday, see it, appreciate it, sing its praises, call it beauty, & bless the beauty you see in your life in all its magnificent and myriad forms. The second part is to help foster and nourish beauty in the world by picking up two pieces of garbage each day, one piece of "garbage creating beauty" for each hand, and then dispose it appropriately knowing you made the world more beautiful today. I recommend that you choose a beautiful item that will remind you of this sacred commitment each day to relish in the beauty of life and pick up two items destined for recycling. When the day comes when there’s no garbage crossing our paths, it's truly a great sign of progress, and proceed to part one basking in the pure beauty of it all.

By bringing our attention to beauty and doing our part each day to cultivate beauty, we support the return of a healthy and vibrant eco-system. We assist the water on our planet to become pure and pristine again. We allow the fire and warmth on our planet to become balanced and healing again. We honor the Mother Earth for her mighty heart and consciousness again. We will breathe knowing the air is clean and charged with molecules of life, health, & love again. It might seem like we are just picking up two pieces of trash each day, but we are a part of something much bigger by cherishing beauty that is restoring the health of all of our systems in the big, cosmic picture. We all have essential roles each day as we cultivate beauty and usher in the new earth.

Another benefit of cultivating beauty daily is we are less likely to pollute our physical bodies and the Earth, less likely to pollute our minds with negative thinking & thoughts, less likely to pollute our hearts with fear, and less likely to pollute our Spirit with neglect. Instead our awareness is on appreciating and activating beauty, and the gifts of that is our world becomes beautiful on all levels. We become the fullest potentials of ourselves, the beings we've been counting on to arrive. We've made it, we're here and we're generating beauty and a host of other divine attributes!

I imagine this creating beauty project being planted and blossoming in all cities, states, and countries around our world. I see us organizing in groups and as communities to honor, cherish, and respect beauty, strengthening our awareness of beauty in our lives, and cleaning up our streets and lands. What if cities vied for the cleanest and most beautiful streets, the freshest air, and the healthiest water honor? Remember we also are representing the many beings whose voices struggle to be heard but who rely on us to make life affirming choices at this crucial juncture. All beings deserve clean water, healthy air, and a balanced environment to prosper. My hopes are that this project will inspire imaginations to help one of the most beautiful, vibrant, love filled, and healthy planets, the Mother Earth, become the amazing planet she is, and that all of us will awaken to our fullest potentials in the process.

Please let me know if you can commit to participating with us each day. I will keep track of our growing numbers. If you would like to lead a cultivating and creating beauty project in your area, you're awesome, and let me know how I can help you and support you. Please share stories of how beauty is growing in your life & any other related gifts that will inspire and nourish the Cultivating & Creating Beauty Project. Send to: inlivingspirit@yahoo.com

This is a sweet creating beauty affirmation to pray and then meditate upon

"Dearest Spirit, I am grateful for this beauty I see and feel in my life, thank you. May beauty increase!"
